Project Summary:

Downtown Bath Is currently divided in two by the major route running through its center. This road creates both a visual and a physical barrier between the two sides of Bath, resulting in little to no foot traffic between the two sides. The project will attempt to reconnect these two sides of downtown Bath by pulling pieces of baths urban fabric across the divide and into the new Bath Institute for Advanced Naval Design and Technologies. Although the site's primary function will be for its school, it will also include a large amount of publicly programmed space to help increase foot traffic to this neglected side of the downtown.
