Project Summary:

Boston's Waterfront district is a blank canvas, offering endless opportunities for incredible architecture. However, there is currently no visual enticement to draw people from downtown Boston to the district. The Waterfront district has many old, brick warehouses that are all similarly scaled with nothing breaking free from the uniformity. The project will break through this uniform plane and stretch upwards from the brick warehouse base that makes up the majority of the district. By doing this, the project will take advantage of the beautiful views of the seaport as well as become a visual enticement to draw people to the Waterfront district.
