Stevens Commons Campus

Redevelopment

For this project, a fellow student and I worked with a private developer to produce promotional imagery for the redevelopment of the Stevens School Campus in Hallowell, Maine.

The school, originally called the Maine Industrial School for Girls, opened in 1875 and was designed as a refuge for viciously inclined girls. The campus, later renamed the Stevens School, has also been used by the state as a pre-release center from the 1970's up until its closing in 2013.

The proposed redevelopment would turn the site into a mixed-use complex with offices and commercial space, residential offerings, apartments, duplexes and small, clustered subdivisions.
